The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is an organization of half a million Americans of every race, creed and color, working for the attainment of a society of equality, security and freedom for all. Affiliated with and under the direction of the National Chapter are 59 College Chapters. Starting the Conference were reports from each of the Chapters. This was followed by a talk on "Trends in College Chapters" by Mrs. Ruby Hurley, Youth Secretary and Director of all Youth and College groups in New York State.
